The Rolls Royce, formerly the property of HRH Princess Maria of Romania, Queen of Yugoslavia, being auctioned at Christies.
She was the daughter of King Ferdinand and of Queen Marie of Romania. She became by marriage Queen of Yugoslavia and after her husband's assassination and following WWII she lived in England where she died. As a great grand daughter of Queen Victoria she is buried together with the other British Royal Family at Frogmore near Windsor.
Princess Mignon of Romania and all the Princesses and Queens of Romania make the object of an Anthology entitled: "Blouse Roumaine - the Unsung Voices of Romanian Women"
